Julie Pasqual

(Hudson County)

Julie Pasqual is a self proclaimed "creativity junky" whose first art form was dance. Other skills she uses in her tellings include clowning, American Sign Language, and occasionally, stiltwalking. She tells a mixture of folktales, fairytales, and original stories for young and old, and has been heard in such ventures as the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the New Jersey Storytelling Festival, and in schools, libraries, bookstores, hospitals, private events, and radio.

Audience: The bulk of my material is appropriate for ages 6-11, but I do have material for preschoolers aged 4-5. I also have tales that appeal to middle schoolers, teenagers and adults. My workshops are geared to middle schoolers and up.
