Place: Barn (Howell Living History Farm)

Workshop Title: Gleaning Insight from Critical Moments: Working Below and Between the Lines of an Oral Text

Presenters: Paula Davidoff and Julie Della Torre

Objectives:  

Participants will be able to

  • Experience story using multiple modes of learning: listening, speaking, writing, and movement.
  • Identify and discuss layers of meaning in traditional literature.
  • Connect personal experience to story/text.
  • Apply workshop activities to enrich study and/or teaching of story.

Three Professional Development credits will be awarded to educators for attending the workshop and story performances of the NJ Storytelling Festival.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  SEATING IS LIMITED.
