2018 NJ Storytelling Festival

Saturday, September 15  Howell Living History Farm

Join us as storytellers from throughout New Jersey and the Tri-State area convene at Howell Living History Farm to regale visitors with a whole new crop of stories.

The Morning Workshop

Each year, the festival's hallmark workshop explores  storytelling techniques and strategies for a variety of applications.  It is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Seating is limited.

 The Story Slam

The Story Slam takes place from noon to 1 PM to begin the fun.  Contestants are chosen at random to recount a 5 minute-or-less personal tale.  Check back often for information about this year's theme.

 The Lightning Round

A continuous rotation of tellers will perform throughout the farm from 1 to 5 PM, followed by the festival’s signature close, the Lightning Round, from 5 to 6 PM.  All are encouraged to participate!

The 25th Annual NJ Storytelling Festival             ...an extraordinarily satisfying day.  And we expect this year to be even better!
